Project overview
This full bathroom installation gave the client a completely refreshed space that feels modern, practical and easy to maintain.
The project involved removing the existing bathroom suite, tiles and flooring before carefully preparing the room for a new shower area, fitted bathroom furniture, upgraded lighting and durable new finishes.
The brief
The customer wanted to completely update their bathroom and create a clean, contemporary space that would be easier to look after.
The design needed to include a modern shower area, integrated bathroom furniture, improved lighting and high-quality flooring, while making the best possible use of the room.
What we did
KRM managed the full bathroom installation from strip-out through to final finishing.
The existing bathroom suite, wall tiles and floor tiles were fully removed. We then dug out the concrete floor so the new shower tray could be installed at the lowest achievable level, helping create a sleeker and more accessible shower area.
A false wall was built at one end of the shower to house the concealed shower valve, giving the space a cleaner finish. The ceiling was lowered to allow for new spotlights, then reboarded using soundproof plasterboard and plastered ready for decoration.
The installation included a new shower tray, concealed shower valve, wetroom screen, fitted bathroom furniture with integrated basin and WC, and a dual-fuel towel warmer. We also fully re-tiled the walls and supplied Amtico Spacia flooring for a smart, durable finish.
The result
The completed bathroom is stylish, functional and built with everyday use in mind. Careful preparation, precise installation and close attention to the finishing details helped create a modern bathroom that feels clean, practical and made to last.
The client now has a low-maintenance bathroom with a high-quality finish and a much more contemporary feel.
